The Words Behind The Album | NewAge Poet

The music tells you what happened. The book tells you why.

Every song has a story. Every lyric has a reason. And sometimes, the most important part of the music is what you don't hear.

Against The Grain — The Words Behind The Album  An intimate journey into the mind, experiences and creative process of NewAge Poet.

More than a traditional companion book, this carefully curated collection explores the stories, symbolism and psychology behind the eleven tracks that make up the Against The Grain album.

Presented through the fictional psychological archives of Kiln Medical, each track becomes a case file — an exploration of identity, belief, relationships, internal conflict, resilience and the courage to challenge the patterns that shape us.

Through thought-provoking narratives, striking imagery, lyrical exploration and psychological interpretation, readers are invited to go beyond the music and discover the deeper meanings woven throughout the album.

The Special Edition Presentation

The hardcover book is housed in a specially curated commemorative collector's box, featuring custom Against The Grain artwork, the distinctive NewAge Poet wax-seal emblem and a simple message concealed within:

Go Against The Grain.

Designed to be more than something you read once, this is a keepsake for those who appreciate music that challenges, questions and makes you think.

Because some stories deserve more than three minutes and a melody.
