Built around the belief that words still have the power to challenge, connect and provoke thought, NewAge Poet is a creative platform that refuses to stay inside one lane.
At the core is poetry — sometimes spoken, sometimes written, sometimes transformed into music. But the purpose remains the same: to explore the thoughts, experiences and conversations that often exist beneath the surface.
Through music, NewAge Poet turns those ideas into stories. Through the Against The Grain album, those stories became deeply personal explorations of identity, resilience, belief, struggle, contradiction and the experiences that shape who we become.
The Against The Grain Podcast takes those conversations beyond the music, sitting down with people from different walks of life to explore the moments that tested them, shaped them and forced them to find their own path. It is less about success at the finish line and more about understanding what happened along the way.
